My Approach

"In our work together, I take a collaborative approach , because I believe you are the expert of your own life. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where we can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I aim to help you uncover the deeper roots of your experiences, asking questions that facilitate self-awareness and insight. Together, we will move at your pace, and when you're ready, we can begin to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving that better align with your values and goals.

In addition to these approaches, I integrate
mindfulness and meditation techniques to help calm the nervous system, quiet racing thoughts, and provide space to simply be present with whatever arises. I believe that by nurturing both mental and physical awareness, we can support lasting change and growth.

I also take an embodied approach to therapy, connecting mind and body. I recognize that emotions, experiences, and trauma are not only stored in the mind, but also in the body. Often, our physical sensations — like tightness, tension, or changes in breath — can provide important clues about how we're feeling emotionally or what we may be holding onto. In our sessions, I invite you to notice and tune into your body's responses, which can help bring deeper awareness and facilitate emotional healing. By reconnecting with the body and its wisdom, we can explore and release patterns that may be keeping you stuck, allowing for greater ease and transformation.

We'll also explore practical tools to help you feel more balanced and empowered in daily life. This may include strategies for improving sleep, movement, self-care, and fostering meaningful connections with others."

Fees

Counselling:

$145 for 50 minutes | $210 for 75 minutes

Mindfulness:

$45 for 25 minutes 

Sliding scale/reduced rate, please inquire. Subject to availability.

Payment Methods

e-Transfer, Credit Card, Cash

 

*Many insurance providers include RCC in their coverage. While we offer limited direct billing, we will provide you with a payment receipt that you can hand in to your insurance for reimbursement. We'd recommend checking with your insurance regarding your personal coverage.
